Privacy policy

Saturday Open Haus is a monthly, by-request house music brunch for licensed real estate agents. This page says what we collect, why, and how to have it deleted. Questions go to hello@saturdayopenhaus.com.

What we collect

When you request a seat, or are added at the door, we keep what you give us:

• your name, email and mobile number;
• your Florida real estate license number and brokerage;
• if you choose to give them, your Instagram handle, city and state, and who invited you;
• whether you want your details shared with partners;
• the IP address of a request, kept for no more than two days in a counter that stops abuse of our forms;
• how you reached the site (for example a link from Instagram or from a guest), and when you checked in.

The request form uses a security check from Cloudflare to stop automated sign-ups. We do not use advertising cookies.

Joining the community and the members hub

You can join the community without asking for a seat. Joining takes your name, your email and your Florida real estate license number, and we check the number and name against the State of Florida's public license register. Members sign in to the members hub with a link we email them.

• The member directory is opt-in. If you choose to be listed, other members see your first name, last initial, city, Instagram handle and headline.
• Posts you write in the feed are seen by other members.
• Recordings and photos of the rooms are shown to members only.

Signing in sets one cookie that keeps you signed in for 30 days. It only tells the site you are a member. If you choose light or dark in the hub, that choice stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

Orders from the shop

When you buy something from the shop, we keep what the order needs:

• your name, email and shipping address, and what you bought;
• the id of the payment. Stripe takes the payment and collects your card details; we never see them;
• the tracking link once the order ships.

Printful prints and ships the order, and receives your name, shipping address and email for that. Orders ship inside the US only. Stripe emails your receipt; we email you once, when the order ships.

How we use it

• to review your request, including checking that your license is active against the State of Florida's public license records;
• to send your pass, reminders and event updates by email;
• to run the door on the day;
• to see who is engaged, from attendance, posts and directory listings, when we plan rooms;
• to plan future rooms.

Photos and video

The room is filmed and photographed for our social media and website. By requesting a seat, you agree you may appear on camera. If you would rather a photo or clip of you came down, email us and we will take it down. The same take-down applies in the members hub: email us and a photo or clip of you comes down there too.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. Partners receive your details only if you choose to share them. We use service providers to run the site and send email: Cloudflare hosts the site and its database, Resend sends our email, Stripe takes payments in the shop and Printful prints and ships what you buy there. They handle your details only to provide that service to us.

Our social media posting tool

We publish our own posts to the Saturday Open Haus accounts on Instagram, Facebook, Threads, YouTube and TikTok with a posting tool of our own. It connects only to those accounts, and only to publish our content. It does not collect, read or store information about anyone else from those platforms.

Uploads to YouTube use the YouTube API Services. By watching our videos there you are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You can remove the tool's access to an account you own at Google's security settings.

Email

Reminders, thank you notes and room announcements each carry an unsubscribe link. Emails that answer something you did, like a sign in link, your pass, or the reply to a seat request, do not. You can reply to any email and ask us to stop.

How long we keep it

We keep your details while you are on our guest list or a member of the community, so we can invite you to the next room. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Deleting your data

Email hello@saturdayopenhaus.com with the subject "Delete my data" from the address you signed up with. We delete your request and your details. If you are a member, we also delete your membership, your directory listing and your posts. We keep a record that you unsubscribed, so we never email you again. We reply to confirm when it is done.

Who can attend

Saturday Open Haus is for licensed real estate agents, so it is not meant for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
